Sea Cliff

Perched above Hendry’s Beach in Santa Barbara, the Bluff House is a grounded coastal residence shaped by land, horizon, and time. Low and elemental in form, it opens to sweeping views of the Channel Islands while sitting quietly within its blufftop setting.

The home is organized around a central living space with opposing wings and full-height glazing that captures both arrival and ocean outlooks, following the natural contours of the site in a calm horizontal composition.

Materiality is restrained and enduring—board-formed concrete outside, and a refined interior palette of white oak, limewash, and select stone, paired with custom steel doors and windows from Italy.
