Originally designed by acclaimed modern architect Kenneth Kruger, the 1,600-square-foot retreat was thoughtfully renovated and built by Bottenfield to honor its original character while embracing a warm, art-forward sensibility.

Inspired by the spirit of Big Sur and the ease of Summerland Beach, the home layers rich wood materiality, curated artwork, and coastal calm throughout.
